ACTIONS ONLY: Personnel, recycling, software

WILLIAMSPORT – The Lycoming County commissioners approved personnel changes, recycling contracts and software upgrades during their Thursday meeting. On the PULSE publishes a list of action items after each Thursday meeting. 

Approve update and TDA changes PASS 3-0

• Controller’s office retitle General Accountant pay grade 8/9 to Temporary 2^nd Deputy/General Accountant pay grade 8/9. 
  • This is a temorary possition due to an individual going out on medical leave. 

Approve the following personnel actions. PASS 3-0

• Prison – Bryce L. Young – as a full time replacement Correctional Officer Relief- Pay grade CO1 – $16.81 per hour effective 10/13/19. 
• Courts – Karl L. Fry – as a part time replacement Bailiff – Pay grade 2 – $10.94 per hour effective 10/14/19 not to exceed 1000 hours annually. 
• Maintenance – Erica N. Berkheiser – as a full time replacement Custodial Worker- Pay grade 1 -$10.84 per hour effective 10/14/19. 
• Pre-Release – Douglas J. Ellsworth – as a full time replacement Resident Supervisor – Pay grade 6 – $16.59 per hour effective 10/20/19. 
• Controller – Heather M. Lehman – as a full time reclassification Temporary 2^nd Deputy/General Accountant – Pay grade 9 – $44,993.15 annually effective 10/13/19. 

Approve addendum to Drop Off Recycle Contract with Spring Township. PASS 3-0 

• The Lycoming County landfill will increase its recycling contract from $130 per pull increasing it to $150 in January. 

Approve addendum to Drop Off Recycle Contract with Franklin Township. PASS 3-0

• The Lycoming County landfill will increase its recycling contract from $130 per pull increasing it to $150 in January. 

Approve addendum to Drop Off Recycle Contract with Penn Township. PASS 3-0

• The Lycoming County landfill will increase its recycling contract from $130 per pull increasing it to $150 in January. 

Approve minor solid waste permit modification application. PASS 3-0

• A modification to the landfill’s method of gas collection.

Approve Change Order #1 to agreement with Tyler Technologies for integration costs of APEX sketching software. PASS 3-0

• The total cost of this integration is $22,200. 

The commissioners present were Jack McKernan, Rick Mirabito and Tony Mussare. 

The next commissioners meeting will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
