ACTIONS ONLY: Levee agreement, homeland security grant

WILLIAMSPORT – The Lycoming County commissioners approved a short list of agenda items including a levee agreement with South Williamsport and a state homeland security grant. On the PULSE publishes a list of action items after each Thursday meeting. 

Approve a memorandum of understanding with South Williamsport PASS 2-0

  • The agreement was passed between the county and South Williamsport for the Greater Williamsport Area Levee System Project.  

Approve state Homeland Security grant agreement PASS 2-0

  • The grant of $327,128 was approved from Sept. 1, 2019 to Aug. 21, 2022. This grant to the sub-recipient is 100% federal funding that is provided through cost reimbursement. 

Approve purchase request to Mar Allen Concrete Product, Inc. PASS 2-0

  • Mar Allen Concrete was awarded the bid for concrete slab repair in the amount of $89,703. 

The commissioner present were Jack McKernan and Tony Mussare. Rick Mirabito was absent. 

The next commissioners meeting will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27.
