Yam-Jam at Lycoming Valley Intermediate School
Curtin and Lycoming Valley Intermediate schools will host their annual YAM-JAM events in March.
Together, the events will celebrate National Youth Art and Music in Our Schools month, but honor it separately through different themes. Curtin’s event ran on March 8.
Lycoming Valley’s YAM-JAM event will be held in the school’s gymnasium and cafeteria.
Through a This is Me! theme, the event will showcase student work in both art and music, student work from around WASD, and community. Interactive activities will be provided from local art and music vendors as well as LVIS faculty and staff.
Performances from LVIS and students will continue throughout the evening.

Indian Comedian Krish Mohan
The Comedy Shop presents Comedian Krish Mohan’s highly rated, award winning stand up comedy show comes to the Arthaus Projects in Williamsport.

Billtown Blues Challenge
The 2019 festival audition concert for Billtown Blues will be held Saturday. All Billtown Blues Association members with current memberships can obtain a ballot for judging, but must do so before the first note of the challenge.
The winning act in each category will have a confirmed spot on the 30th annual Billtown Blues Festival stage, be eligible for the 36 annual International Blues Challenge in 2020 and have an opportunity to be a featured performer at destination blues in 2020 and the Exchange Listening Room in Bloomsburg during 2019.
