Thanksgiving week will be mostly sunny with some rain on Sunday and temperatures will fluctuate in the mid 40s and low 50s. Thanksgiving Day will be sunny, according to the National Weather Service. Check out this weeks event.

Sunday, Nov. 24 

Annual Country Craft Bingo Fundraiser

The Mifflinburg Buggy Museum will be holding its annual Country Craft Bingo on Sunday, November 24th at the Carriage Corner Restaurant, Route 45, Mifflinburg. The doors will open at 1:00 pm with the early bird game at 1:45 pm. Ticket are $20.00 for 20 games, with special games and a coverall. There will also be refreshments, raffle prizes, door prizes and a 50-50. The prizes are Americana, primitive, country craft home decor items. Tickets are available at the Carriage Corner Restaurant and through the Buggy Museum. Tickets will also be available at the door.

The Joe Show!

The Joe Show is a musical benefit to help Joseph Potrzebowski’s loving family in their time of grief. Joe was a lover of family,  great friends and all things music.

Clear the Air About Vaping Health Risks

You are invited to Clear the Air About Vaping Health Risks, Monday, November 25th, 7:00 pm, Room 105-Greenberg Auditorium, Willis Health Professions Center, Railroad Street, Lock Haven University Campus, Lock Haven, PA. The guest speaker is Tony Delonti, American Lung Association. Free parking in front of Willis Health Professions Center. Railroad Street is one way from Water Street. The sponsor is the Student Public Health Club. Free and open to the public.

Pie Day 5k Run / Walk – Williamsport

The Pie Day 5k Run/Walk is being coordinated by Be You Boldly owner Cecilia Fink, 11th Grade student at Williamsport Area High School.  All proceeds from the 2019 event will go to the Cancer Survivors Program and K’s for Cancer. Registration begins at 7:30am and the race will kick off at 9am.

Thanksgiving Meal

The First Presbyterian Church of Milton will be providing a FREE Thanksgiving meal on Thursday, November 28th at noon in the Fellowship Hall. The meal is available to anyone in the community. To make reservations, call the church office (570) 742-4491, Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to noon. Take-outs will also be available but must be ordered in advance by calling the office.

Turkey Trot 5K

Blossburg United Methodist Church will host the 3rd annual Blossburg Turkey Trot. A 5K run /walk is open to all ages. Strollers and pets are welcome. This is a community event for the whole family and a great way to burn off calories after the big Thanksgiving Dinner.

Same day registration 7:30-8:30 am Race begins promptly at 9 a.m.

Additional $5 for race day registration.
