2020 Heart of Lewisburg Ice Festival

Come downtown to view dozens of unique ice sculptures. Many other activities are planned for the weekend including the Polar Bear Plunge, Frosty 5K, Chocolate Festival and tour, children’s activities in Hufnagle Park and more! This year’s festival is sponsored by Evangelical Community Hospital. Look for their feature sculpture in the park.

Red Carpet Gala at the Campus Theatre

The Red Carpet Party returns to The Campus Theatre on Sunday. Join the theatre for Hollywood’s big nice and celebrate another year in cinema. Light food and a cash bar will be available. Party attire is encouraged.

Preschool Story Time

For children ages 3 1/2 to 5 years old (not yet in kindergarten).

Adult participation and registration is required. Please note that registration for this program is ongoing and remains open until the class is full.

Preschool story time is a wonderful tradition to continue to build upon your nurturing a love of reading with your child. Sharing books and reading together is the best way to raise a reader. Don’t forget to take lots of books home to enjoy after story time.

Chair yoga with Alicia Koch

Alicia Koch has been using natural healing modalities for herself and family since 2000. She studied Western Herbalism at Southwest Institute of Healing Arts and received her Yoga teacher training certification in 2006. She has incorporated natural remedies, mindfulness exercises and yoga in her daily living and enjoys sharing her practices with the community.

Some of the benefits of chair yoga include: Improved strength, flexibility, and concentration. An overall feeling of positivity, including stress reduction and pain management.

Free program “Transgender Medical Care 101”, Tuesday, February 11th, 7:00 pm, Greenberg Auditorium (Room 105), Willis Health Professions Center, Railroad Street, Lock Haven University. An infamous tale, Sweeney Todd, an unjustly exiled barber, returns to nineteenth century London, seeking vengeance against the lecherous judge who framed him and ravaged his young wife. The road to revenge leads Todd to Mrs. Lovett, a resourceful proprietress of a failing pie shop, above which, he opens a new barber practice. Mrs. Lovett’s luck sharply shifts when Todd’s thirst for blood inspires the integration of an ingredient into her meat pies that has the people of London lining up… and the carnage has only just begun!
