January is in full swing but the upcoming week is still running on the warm side. Temperatures will rest in the upper 30s for most of the week, dipping down to the mid to low 20s at night. There are plenty of indoor event to fill your days.

Epiphany Services

Epiphany Services will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 8 & 10 am. The service features the Three Kings and is enjoyable for both children and adults. The children will be asked to remove their shoes and line them up outside the church hallway before the service begins. When the service concludes, they will find a special present from the Wise Men in their shoes. A blanket drive will be held, and blankets will be brought forward to surround the nativity. Williamsport Artisan Shop

Join your friends at Arthaus Projects for the next evolution of the space during the grand opening of the Williamsport Artisan Shop. 

For 2020, Arthaus Projects has decided that instead of the traditional ten-exhibitions-per-year schedule, the gallery will showcase four, month-long, high impact gallery exhibitions like our annual juried show and feature what we are calling the Williamsport Artisan shop the remaining 8 months of the year. The Artisan Shop will pop up from January 3rd – April 25th, will return July 3rd – September 26th, and will close out the year in December.

Good Morning Yoga Family Story Time

Come wake-up with us at the library!  Good Morning Yoga will be a time for caregiver and child interaction, learning some fun and easy yoga poses.  This class is designed to energize the body and mind to jump start you and your child’s day. National Juried Exhibition

The National Juried Exhibition, “Blurred Expectations,” brings together works that both challenge negative stereotypes about and pay tribute to positive and uplifting representations of black people and culture. The show aims to showcase high quality artwork that fits within the described theme while stimulating students with understanding and experience related to exhibition curation and design, installation, and art handling.

On the PULSE has been producing in-depth local news since we were founded nearly one year ago. Share an evening with us!

Drink wine from Four Friends Vineyard & Winery, eat delicious food and talk about the future of news in Lycoming County.

We’ve published over 50 videos, received over 150,000 video views, published over 200 articles and reached over 1,500 followers on Facebook. We couldn’t have done it without you, and through your investment we will continue to expand in the year ahead.

On the PULSE has covered issues ranging from human trafficking, to needs for volunteer fire companies, to the homeless population in Williamsport. We are dedicated to shining a light on hidden local issues – showing the people behind the policies, the heart inside the issues.

The coming year will be full of exciting new content, including more video production, launching the On the PULSE Podcast and building a connection between the community and local colleges.

We are excited about the coming advancements and can’t wait to share them with you!
