Candidate Spotlight: Brady talks golf course, levee and broadband

In On the PULSE’s recent spotlight interview, Lycoming County commissioner candidate Steve Brady gave his thoughts on issues ranging from taxes and the White Deer Golf Complex to the levee recertification and broadband internet.

Stemming from what Brady said is a desire to serve his community, he hopes as commissioner he will be able to spur on an open dialogue about local issues.

“All of those issues are related. They’re issues that we as the people of Lycoming County, as the community here, share,” Brady said.

Brady is seeking the Republican nomination in the May 21 Primary. He said he supports small business and and wants to increase economic growth in the county.

“I want us to look and see what the value is to the people of Lycoming County for the things that we do. If there’s not a direct value in infrastructure or anything else, then maybe we shouldn’t be doing it,” Brady said.
