DCA World Championships hosted by Drum Corps Associates
Drum corps season doesn’t end with the DCI World Championships in August, as the Drum Corps Associates (DCA) World Championships are set to take place over Labor Day Weekend in Williamsport for a second year. Making their Championships return in the same city that hosts the Little League World Series, all-age drum and bugle corps from across the country. This year the Alumni Spectacular will be performing indoors at the Williamsport Area High School Auditorium.

Prostate Cancer Support Group
Meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6 p.m. in the Cancer Center’s large conference room at UPMC Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Divine Providence Campus. Attendees are asked to please use the Cancer Center entrance and parking area. The August meeting is substituted with an annual picnic held at Indian Park in Montoursville. December’s meeting is substituted with an annual holiday dinner. This group is open to all males with a past or present prostate cancer diagnosis. Spouses are also encouraged to attend. Concert at Noon: Justin Badgerow, piano
Join Lycoming College for its first Concert at Noon of the Fall semester as it welcomes guest artist, Justin Badgerow. He has performed and presented across the US and Mexico, Brazil, Ireland, and South Africa and at conferences for College Music Society, the Music Teachers National Association, and National Conference for Keyboard Pedagogy. He is an Associate Professor of Music at Elizabethtown College, and will present a concert at Lycoming College featuring the Music of Brazil. Complimentary refreshments will be served for your enjoyment.
