Comedian at Arthaus Projects
Arthaus Projects and the Comedy Shop welcome’s Johnny Azari.
Johnny Azari, of Brooklyn, is an Iranian-American comedian who has been on tour since 2013. Azari has appeared on Fuse’s “Weekly Riff” as well as “Crime Report” on Compound Media and performs at multiple NYC clubs. He delivers a high-energy show about life on the road, ten years as an almost-famous rock & roller, and political/social satire. Azari has headlined in 42 states, and filmed his first hour, “The Revolution Will Be Hilarious,” in Brooklyn, 2017. He’s recorded his second album, “You’re Both Wrong,” on his Mis·di·rec·tion Tour 2018. Despite all this and having scored films with Natalie Portman & Cate Blanchett, he still sleeps in his van 90% of the time when he’s on tour.
Also performing will be Kevin Brosius and Kelsey Blue with Kevin Seibert hosting.

Children’s workshop on history and genealogy
The Thomas T. Taber Museum of the Lycoming County Historical Society will hold the fifth in a series of workshops for children on Saturday, June 1, 2019, from 9:00am until 12:30pm. The workshop is free and open to the public, but pre-registration is strongly requested. The costs of the workshop are underwritten by a grant from Lodge No. 106 Free and Accepted Masons.

Summer Beach Party
The Liberty Arena is kicking off the summer with a beach party. The arena is transforming its parking lot into a beachy oasis complete with food, drinks, activities and live music from Clyde Frog, Uptown Music Collective and WonderChunk. Activities include cornhole, spike ball, kan jam and washers.
