Williamsport Civic Chorus presents a free concert

The Williamsport Civic Chorus will hold a free concert to kick off its concert tour of Ireland. With songs by Randall Thompson, William Billings, Bono, and member Mike Connor, among others, you’ll see (and hear) a selection of the music the chorus will take “on the road.”

Teen Galaxy Laser Tag at Brandon Park

James V. Brown Library is hosting Galaxy Laser Tag at Brandon Park. Other outdoor games will be provided.  If you have a favorite game from home that you would like to share and teach it to new friends, please bring it in.  We will meet by the band-shell. If it rains, we will have board games in the library on the second floor Welch Wing.

The Origami Yoda Files book 2: Darth Paper Strikes Back

James V. Brown Library is reading The Origami Yoda Files book 2: Darth Paper Strikes Back, part of a summer reading series featuring Tom Angleberger. Summer Readers will be given a copy of the book to read before they come. Please register for each individual book chat. You may join at any time during the summer. Author Lindsay C. Barry will be at the James V. Brown Library.  Barry grew up in Bloomsburg, PA and now lives in Northern Virginia. Her first children’s picture book Journey to Constellation Station has sold over 800 copies. Her two sons’ love of trains and outer space inspired her to write this story.

Community Yard Sale Fundraiser

City Church will hold a yard sale fundraiser to support DWELL orphan care, Younglife and Legacy.
